Little Al’s at The Commandery

Little Al’s at The Commandery is tucked aside on the Worcester and Birmingham canal, minutes away from the heart of the City Centre and Worcester Cathedral.

Opened in July 2024, we’ve welcomed long-standing customers from across our Worcester and Droitwich cafes and new coffee lovers, foodies, and dog lovers alike. We’re no stranger to setting up home in some of Worcestershire’s most iconic venues, home to musical legends and even previous printworks, such as Littlebury’s.

Little Al’s at The Commandery is no exception. The Grade 1 listed building is entrenched in history, and the manicured museum gardens and well-kept features reflect Worcester’s past. Inside The Commandery, you can see medieval wall paintings, the magnificent Great Hall, discover the building’s role in the English Civil War, and more.

Our Suppliers

Our menu soaks up the best food and drink that Worcestershire has to offer. We say no to single-use plastic and serve your regular cappuccinos in stylish china.

All our coffee, cocoa, and tea are Fairtrade and local, reflecting our commitment to providing the best quality ingredients from the hardworking teams around the corner.

We use the same suppliers across all our Droitwich and Worcester cafes, so you can enjoy your regular drinks order wherever you stop by. *Please note that menus do occasionally change.

Our Menu

Bring the whole family, including your beloved dogs, for an alfresco lunch where you can spot the ducks gliding along the canal. Or, rest your legs with a hot drink and legendary (large) toasted teacake or homemade cake in our stylish yet homely cafe.

Everything is made fresh, and our menu may change according to the seasons and the finest ingredients available from our trusted suppliers. What you can expect is knowledgeable service with a smile. Relish warming brunch options such as quiche, toasties, and sarnies to keep you going! We’re always more than happy to tweak your order to accommodate any dietary requirements. Just let us know when you order, and we’ll get you sorted.

Your pups won’t miss out, either. We serve Waggydog ice cream, Puppacinos, and doggy sausages!
